SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE: 49ers, Santa Clara County to open California's largest vaccination site at Levi's Stadium

Three months after the San Francisco 49ers last played in Levi’s Stadium, the team is joining with Santa Clara County to turn the 68,500-seat facility into California’s largest vaccination site.

Workers initially will be able to vaccinate 5,000 county residents per day when the venue opens next week. But capacity could rise as high as 15,000 people per day as vaccine supplies increase.
