Mayra Flores has spent the first 16 years of her career as a journalist in the South Bay. She is an award-winning reporter and life-long community enthusiast. She is a HOPE Leadership Institute alumna and a proud San José State University Spartan. Mayra manages Susan's staff, strategic vision as well as the arts, immigrant relations, historic preservation, constituent services and community events.

David Fernandez is a San José State University alum who has experience with helping underrepresented and underserved populations within our communities. David manages Susan's housing policy, constituent services and community events.
Michael Norris, Communications Director

Michael Norris has worked in communications for more than 18 years, spanning the private sector in boutique research firms and for an affordable housing nonprofit in the Bay Area. He manages Supervisor Ellenberg’s overall communications, media relations, and content strategy for constituent and community-facing media.
Michelle Collins, Executive Administrative Assistant & Scheduler

Michelle Collins has worked for the County of Santa Clara for the last 17 years, most recently with Supervisor Ken Yeager. She brings a deep knowledge of the inner-workings of the county and all its complexities to Susan's team. Michelle manages Susan's calendar, office logistics, constituent services and community events.

Steve is a UC Santa Barbara and Santa Clara University alum with experience in marketing and communications with the private sector. Steve manages Susan’s social media, newsletter, constituent services, business associations and community events.
Victor Santiago, Community Relations Aide

Victor Santiago has experience in English and Spanish-speaking community engagement thanks to his work and volunteerism for numerous charities and nonprofits. He is a college student and graduate from Bellarmine College Preparatory. Victor oversees Susan's Community Relations, D4 Neighborhood Associations, community outreach, and events.
Angelica Ramos-Allen, Board Aide - Children, Seniors & Families and Special Projects

Angelica Ramos-Allen has spent the past decade as a political consultant, an activist for women's rights, and an advocate for policies to support and protect children. She is currently a Fellow with the Children's Defense Fund and holds a J.D. from Whittier Law School. Angelica manages Susan's children and families policy, constituent services, and community events.
Audin Leung, Board Aide - Public Safety and Justice

Audin Leung has led community-based efforts for the past 8 years. From co-founding a statewide youth advocacy coalition to promoting civic engagement of womxn and trans people of color, their work has always been guided by compassion, equity, and a dedication to public service. They graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Community and Regional Development. Audin manages Susan’s public safety and justice policy.
Steve Kline, Board Aide - LGBTQ+ & Seniors

Steve has spent decades as a political consultant, a community activist for neighborhoods, LGBTQ+ rights, and accessible libraries. He is an Attorney and Counselor at Law, graduating from Pepperdine University School of Law. He is a sole practitioner with a General Practice. Steve manages Susan's LGBTQ+ and senior policy, constituent services and community events.
Heidi Owens, Board Aide – Finance & Government Operations

Heidi has a background in business and finance, having worked for many years in the high tech industry. She is a leader in her community, having served as an appointed Commissioner for the County of Santa Clara and the Town of Los Gatos. She completed a Masters Degree in Business from Santa Clara University and a Bachelors in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton. Heidi manages Susan's finance and government operations policy, constituent services and community events.
Christine Rutherford-Stuart, Board Aide - Health & Hospitals

Christine has more than 15 years of public health experience supporting the development and implementation of programs in partnership with communities. She has served in federal, city and county health departments working on a variety of issues including child health, obesity prevention, emergency response, HIV and STD prevention. She completed a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of Washington and a post-graduate fellowship with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention program planning and evaluation. Christine manages Susan's health and hospital services, public and behavioral health policy, constituent services and community events.
